Meet Michelle

Michelle King Rayfield, LMFT

Michelle is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 122618) and the founder of King Family Therapy. She is a Certified EMDR Therapist with specialties in CBT, DBT, Brainspotting, IFS and Gottman Method. With an extensive background in addiction treatment, Michelle has worked at various rehabs across Southern California and has researched psychological trauma and neuroscience at Cedars-Sinai. She also works with pre-licensed professionals as a CAMFT Certified Clinical Supervisor.

Michelle earned her Masters in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. She also earned a Masters in Education from the University of Southern California and has worked as an Educator for the Deaf, Public School Teacher, and Nonprofit Director.​

Meet Zach

Zach Galasi, ASW

Zach is an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW 123299) with experience in​ trauma, addiction and substance abuse (including 12-step recovery), depression, attachment issues, and incarceration. His preferred therapeutic approaches include EMDR, ACT, CBT, IFS, and Solution-Focused Therapy, with an additional focus on Mindfulness and Spirituality. 

 

Zach earned his Masters in Social Work from Florida International University and a Bachelors in English & Creative Writing from New York University. His path to becoming a therapist began after a brief yet fulfilling career in book & magazine publishing, which ultimately led him to a passion for helping others.​

Meet Katie

Katie Massey, AMFT

Katie is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 133578) who provides support for anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorders, depression, complex trauma, relationship issues, and LGBTQ+ issues.​ Katie integrates evidence-based interventions such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, dream work, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction into her therapeutic work.

 

Katie earned her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, where she also earned a specialization in Spiritual and Depth Psychology. With an undergraduate degree in Education from Texas A&M University, Katie worked with children for over a decade in public schools and on TV shows for networks such as Disney and Nickelodeon.
